I couldn't believe what I heard at the game last night. After some 20 years in the Booster Club, the President resigns. What the heck is that all about?

It's not exactly a paid position. Maybe he/she just got tired of doing the work. Maybe something changed in his/her life and he/she isn't able to devote the time to the volunteer position anymore.

When a similar thing happened in Belleville, it was because the booster club didn't really exist
in it's previous form, and ownership was going in a new direction.... business is business.
The old guard is gone along, with many of the personal attachments many players feel and form with
the community; the new guard is in, for better or worse.
Wouldn't be surprised if that's what's happening in Ottawa land.
