Michigan Restaurants

The place to discuss general hockey or off-ice OHL issues. Plan your bus trips, ask about the best OHL restaurants, or arena music here. It is also a place for some general hockey chatter outside of the OHL, like the Q, WHL, NHL or the minors.

My Wife and I are going to the Thanksgiving Day Lions game and hope to catch a game in Plymouth or Saginaw that weekend. We are spending Thanksgiving night in Detroit and were wondering if the restaurants are open on Thanksgiving in Michigan or if they are closed?

There are some restaurants open. I'd think the restaurants downtown around Ford Field would be more likely to be open than the ones in the suburbs.

If they are open, I recommend Michael Symon's Roast. A bit pricey, but oh so good.

24 OHL arenas and counting...

If the instigator rule is killing hockey now, having to fight every time you throw a clean hit would kill hockey even faster.
