Bignell Returning to Bulls

Postby duke1036 » Sun Nov 30, 2014 11:34 am

Overager Adam Bignell is expected to be in the Bulls lineup on Wednesday against the 67's.
Bignell left the team to attend University prior to the start of the season, as it appeared the
Bulls were committed to the younger players on D. With Mark Reycroft also leaving, the team chose to play
an assortment of forwards on D rather than call up Justin Bean, who had been assigned to Wellington (since traded to Mississauga).
Bulls somehow convinced Bignell to put his education plans on hold for a year, and re-join the team.
Hopefully he won't feel too much pressure to be the saviour, but it will give the forwards more opportunity
to play their own position and contribute to offence.
Yuill appears to have been playing hurt the past couple of week, and if he can bounce back, Bulls look respectable
on the back end.

In fact it also happened about a week ago when Thomas Welsh left school for the Rangers.

Stay tuned.....if you believe in Santa Claus you might just also see a return to officials calling interference penalties
and late hit penalties in the OHL; it could possibly happen ! (probably not until a serious injury happens though, and then only if it's a "star" player)
