Here is some information you'll need to know.

If you get a security message, click Yes to load the chat. Click on CONNECT in the top left once the window is loaded. The chat room name is: #rinkratchat (in case you get lost!) Step 1. When you log-in, change to your selected nickname by typing /nick <name>, or for example, /nick Gretzky.

If you want to register your nickname for your own use (nicknames registered in the past won't be registered now), type: /msg nickserv register <password> <email>. The email is used just in case you've lost your password. For example, it would be /msg nickserv register Gretzky wayne gretzky@nhl.com

If you have already registered, do Step 1, and then type /msg nickserv identify <password> to verify to the server it is the right person, for example /msg nickserv identify wayne
